2026 Storm King Invitational
Two days of competition and camaraderie, uniting adaptive golfers, Special Olympics athletes, and veterans as teammates on one course. Meet the athletes who competed in the Storm King Invitational.
More Than A Tournament
ABOUT THE INVITATIONAL
The Storm King Invitational is hosted by the Hudson Valley Golf Foundation at Storm King Golf Club in Cornwall, New York. It puts golfers from different backgrounds on the same teams: adaptive golfers, Special Olympics athletes and veterans playing side by side.
The event grew out of the Bright Spot Unified Challenge, which ran for more than a decade before taking on the Invitational name. The idea hasn't changed: competition that matters, and connections that last well past the final putt.
THE FORMAT
FOUR TEAMS. ONE CHAMPIONSHIP
The field is split into four teams, each captained by a returning Invitational player. Teams earn points across four rounds of match play over two days.

Partners each play their own ball. The better score on each hole counts.
DAY 1: AFTERNOON

DAY 2: MORNING
Scramble
Both partners hit, the partners plays from the best shot every time.
DAY 2: AFTERNOON
